Co-Vid19 borne strange inventions

We are three months into completing two whole years trapped in our houses due to this global pandemic. Looking back now, it seems like a time capsule. From the emails, we got to start working from home, and exams getting canceled. From making dalgona coffee to washing and cleaning every single commodity of our houses. The only constant and the most notable thing has been the note and announcements of “We have postponed, for now, we will reevaluate the situation and extend the ‘temporary policy’ until further notice”. People were trapped with toxic families or roommates or were isolated with constant feelings of loneliness. Grief, loss, anxiousness all of this was a major part of loss, anxiousness. All of this was a major part of the pandemic. As the world stopped due to Co-Vid19, businesses around the world faced huge challenges. To cope up with the tough times and digital world, many new inventions were made. From upgraded sanitation in food processing machinery to social distancing equipment, the covid-19 made us see an array of innovations. Let us see a few.

  • Pool Noodles

With strangers and friends required to keep a distance (1.5 meters), there will always be a gap in the market for standard helmets. From Burger King's oversized cardboard headgears to a German cafe giving customers pool hats, there are plenty of companies that have found creative ways to meet their space needs.

  • Airpod Thermometer

While we can certainly see the value of infrared temperature control in high-risk/high-traffic areas (hospitals/airports/schools, etc.), we have never thought of linking temperature control to standard health iTunes listening. That said, for those of you who want to pull out your headphone case and check the temperature of your friends, family, or other commuters, the good news is that you CAN.

  • Face recognition Masks

The need for protective masks has increased since the coronavirus made the news. A "Face ID compatible respirator" could be the solution to this problem, as a mask prevents people from unlocking their phones. Since wearing face masks prevents Face ID smartphones from being unlocked, San Francisco-based designer Danielle Baskin presented the novel idea on Twitter. These skins are designed to allow both your friends and your phone (or other facial recognition devices) to still recognize you in the midst of a pandemic. Artist Danielle Baskin created Resting Risk Face to "play with dystopia," a virus-related product in the midst of a pandemic, and caused a stir on social media.

  • Batman isolation kit… or not?

There is a concept design created by a Chinese architect, Sun Dayong. It is a shield that is claimed to be able to protect the wearer during an outbreak. Dubbed "Be a Bat Man," the security device could be used for "those exposed to an adverse situation during the coronavirus emergency," said Sun Dayong, who owns a co-based architecture studio, Penda. The shield can be made from carbon fiber mounts shaped like bat wings, which can be worn like a backpack. The PVC film can stretch between these helpers, like the membrane of a bat's wing. The ropes embedded inside the plastic can heat up to a temperature high enough to kill any pathogens on them, creating a sterile indoor environment for the wearer.

These products are going to give orm services and their marketing department serious brain boulder for establishing a brand identity! Good luck!
