RAMIVEN 150MG TABLET
Introduction:
Ramiven
150 mg Tablet is an anticancer medicine that contains the active substance
abemaciclib. It is used to treat a type of breast cancer (hormone
receptor-positive, HER2 negative breast cancer) that is advanced or metastatic
(breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body). Cancer is a
condition in which cells multiply abnormally and without control. This
medication works by inhibiting proteins called cyclin-dependent kinases and is
given in combination with other medicines.
Ramiven 150 mg tablets are not recommended for adolescents
and children under 18 years of age. Before taking this medicine, it is
important to tell your doctor if you have symptoms of infection (fever, chills,
or sore throat), liver disease, kidney disease, or intolerance to certain
sugars. Use effective birth control during treatment and for at least three
weeks after the last dose.
You should not eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice
while taking Ramiven
150mg tablet. Be sure to tell your doctor about all the medicines you are
taking, including dietary supplements and herbal medicines, before starting
treatment with this medicine.

Tablet works?
Ramiven 150 mg tablet blocks the action of proteins called
cyclin-dependent kinases 4 and 6, which are abnormally active in some cancer
cells, causing them to grow uncontrollably. By blocking these proteins, this
drug slows the growth and spread of cancer.
