FSSAI had before proposed to change the Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Regulations, 2011("Principal Regulations") via the Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) … … Amendment Regulations, 2019.

Presently, in a new Notification dated thirteenth October 2020 FSSAI has told the Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Eight Amendment Regulations, 2020.

These guidelines have acquired impact right away. Food Business Operators need to consent to the Amendment by first July 2021.
