Plantable packaging: A zero-waste concept - Fmtmagazine

The packaging is made from cardboard, a renewable and recyclable material. It is printed on FSC-certified paper, which comes from forests that are managed sustainably, according to the highest environmental and social standards.

Plantable packaging

You might be familiar with reusing, recycling, or upcycling packaging. But the concept of plantable packaging takes it to the next level. Plantable packaging is a term for sustainable packaging made from biodegradable materials.

Once the product is finished, the packaging can be planted and grown into new plants. This is an incredible concept for a few reasons:  It reduces waste, It’s eco-friendly, It’s a beautiful way to teach kids about the environment  It can be used to grow new plants. There are a few different types of plantable packaging

Some are made from paper or cardboard, while others are made from biodegradable plastics. The most common type of plantable packaging is seed paper. Seed paper is made from recycled paper that’s been infused with seeds. Once the form is planted, the roots will grow into new plants.

Seed paper is a great way to reduce waste and teach kids about the environment. Plus, it’s a fun way to grow new plants! Plantable packaging is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a sustainable packaging option.
