- Sugarr & Spice:
Sugarr & Spice is a Kolkata-based bakery company. It was founded in the year 1990 by Supriya Roy. The company is currently offering over 50 different products. These items include cakes, pastries, pizzas, burgers, tandoori items, kebabs, patties, and much more. They also provide packaged items like chocolates and cookies. It is very famous for its seasonal fruit and nut cake that it produces during Christmas time. Sugarr & Spice has over 90 franchises in West Bengal and a few outside the state.
- Mio Amore:
Mio Amore was founded by Arnab Basu after the split with Monginis. Mio Amore was found in the year 2015. It is one of the top bakery brands in India and it tops the franchise list in terms of profitability as a bakery outlet. The Mio Amore franchise profit margin is considered to be at least around 20% on the MRP of the product. This is low, but accounting for the turnover, it gives a quick return on investment. The company has over 300 Mio Amore stores in West Bengal and Odisha.
- Monginis:
Monginis is an Indian multinational bakery and pastry chain. It is based in Mumbai and was renamed Mio Amore before the company split. It is considered to be the best bakery franchise in India. It started in the year 1956 in Mumbai and now has over 900 outlets in India and Egypt.
- Mr. Brown:
Mr. Brown Bakery is a family-owned gourmet bakery stored and founded in Lucknow. It was found in the year 2009 and it adopted the franchising concept in the year 2012. Today, it has a huge presence in cities like Delhi, Lucknow, and Kanpur.
